Without realising it, I may have been one of the first women to have what today is called a ‘portfolio’ career.
I come to Coaching from an exciting and varied background. Coaching is my tenth career. (who’s counting?) Actress/Dancer, Part-Time Racing Driver (a hobby - 750 cc sports cars), full-time Mother, Secretary/PA, Catering Manager, Conference Organiser, Recruiter, Outplacement Consultant, Trainer and Coach.
I trained with Coach U, the first and still the leading Coach Training Organisation in the world. I'm a Mentor Coach and a PCC (Professional Certified Coach) with the International Coach Federation. I'm extremely active as a volunteer in the Coaching Community both here in the UK and Worldwide.
I am a Personal Coach (as distinct from a business coach). However, in my experience ALL coaching is personal coaching. Inevitably business life and personal life are inextricably linked. I am a business woman, I understand business but its the personal issues that speak to my passion; the desire for clients to capture their vision and take steps to ensure the vision becomes a reality. An old Japanese proverb 'Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare.'
