Interrupt your journey as often as you can. Pull off the
motorway, get off the tube and wait a few trains, get
off one of two stops early and walk the rest. Don't get
onto an overcrowded train - if you're late, you're late.
Take water with you everywhere
If you feel dizzy or unwell (don't be brave) ask someone
to give up their seat for you.
Get an Iced Perfume Stick and use regularly on pulse points
and around the back of the neck and into the hairline.
Use a rosewater scented vaporising spray on your face
at regualar intervals
Carry a small paper fan (yes, guy's too - the Japanese do)
Soak a small piece of cotton in light scented cologne
and tuck into your bra (guy's you'll have to be inventive here)
Carry a cool pebble in your pocket, handle it and think about
the lake, river, seabed it came from. Visualise yourself standing
in that lake or under a waterfall.
Pant (animals do). If you're pregnant you may need to
reassure fellow travellers that you're not going into labour
and one for luck
Get an absolutely thrilling book and get immersed in it
